Dr. Hunter Dawson
DMD MSD
Prosthodontist Dr. Hunter Dawson is passionate about improving dental implant treatment outcomes of patients. By sharing his educational and clinical experiences with dental implants his goal is to ensure a higher level of patient care. Providing peers in the profession with the most relevant and practical information is a passion for him.
Beginning his career, he pursued his goal of becoming a dentist at the University of Louisville. Following dental school, he continued his education by completing a Full-Time Advanced Education Residency in Prosthodontics at the University of Louisville.
During his residency, he took a special interest in utilizing digital technology to deliver patient care. His research interest and focus were on implant abutment materials, he was awarded an ITI grant to support this research.

Dr. Dawson
and his wife, Melissa, call North Carolina home. They have been married for 10 year and have 4 children. When Dr. Dawson is not practicing dentistry or providing dental education you will find them traveling throughout NC spending time with family.
